”Mount Qingcheng”is an ink-and-wash painting done in the " Wenfeng" style. This work was created using the center brush-tip technique applied in calligraphy. Inspired by a free and natural artistic conception, the artist's brush strokes and coloring were not applied deliberately. Instead, the entire painting was created in one continuous stream of inspiration.
The painting depicts a scenic view located on Mount Qingcheng in Sichuan, China. In studying the application of brush strokes and ink, we can see how extremely mature the artist's skills are. Those skills enabled the artist to creat this painting imbued with such a scholarly air.
